Avatar Mode In Development

Well, here we are, working on the third game mode, Avatars, at the same time UltraG is coming along.

I feel within a matter of weeks the codebase will be super stable and it’ll be all about content, content, content.

However, Avatar mode is a lot more complex.

In order to achieve massive content, allowing for hundreds of models, we’re going to have to bring tools into our engine where we’re currently heavily reliant on Blender.

We can see here for example, the cape is actually part of the model mesh.

Easy enough to fix – manually – but every time?

No.

So, we’re going to have to create a system that allows you to fully dress characters.

This will take a while, and will be exhausting, even with AI Developers working.

But it WILL happen.

And then we’re moving very close to an MMORPG.
